An excellent book - not just of Flo's personal struggle but also scientific studies on foods/ environment and well being statistics and ways to get you through the cancer struggle. This book does highlight how awful cancer can be and offers insight in to those that are suffering a bigger battle than our own. It also offers positive anecdotes in everyday life and how to overcome personal struggles with work, home and family understandings. Although it is written from an American point of view, this book can still relate to anyone going through cancer from the diagnosis to the end of treatment and beyond. I would definitely recommend this to anyone in similar circumstances and even family members who wish to help in order to understand.
