This authorative book is a superb guide to all those questions which arise during pregnancy and childbirth. An ideal book for those wanting up to date professional advice, particularly in today's world when midwives are not easily available or who lack time to answer the worries and concerns of their clients. It is reassuring to find out that the questions we have are the same as those of others. The diagrams are brilliant and clear, easy to understand.A book to thoroughly recommend to those facing parenthood and an ideal gift for friends and family who are pregnant.

I bought this book when I was 16 weeks pregnant as I could never remember the questions I wanted to ask my midwife at my antenatal appointments. I wish I had seen it earlier - it is such a useful book. It covers from trying for a baby, all through pregnancy and the first few weeks after the birth. The book is broken down into sections, each with all the most common questions asked (and some not so common!), and the answers. There are loads of helpful photos and illustrations throughout, and a detailed index at the end so you can quickly look up specific areas. I would highly recommend this book, it is easily the most useful pregnancy book I have read.

I am pregnant with my first child and every day since I fell pregnant I have had a question i really wanted to ask someone. I bought loads of books but none of them covered the things i wanted to know! I bought this and read it cover to cover in one night and its easily one of the best books i've ever read! I covers absolutely everything, even the wee daft things you might not want to ask anyone and I found it just as good as talking to my midwife. My partner even read it! I still go back over it now and again if i want to find something out and the info is all there. Well recommended :)
